Chinese Parts = Bad Windmill = ReDriven.com Redriven.net

Are you guys serious about buying a chinese made windmill? Not only are they NOT certified in the United States electrically but there is NO way they will honor that so called 5 year warranty. They simply cannot and will not, just call some of their customers like I did!

This is a fly by night operation and if you toss away your hard earned money in this economy on this trashy wind powered generation system I have some land to sell you!

In all honesty folks, im tired of seeing EXCITED people get a sales pitch and toss away HARD EARNED money without checking around, asking questions etc.

CHINESE PARTS folks, will this company that makes the wind turbine be around in 5 years or will they have moved on by then, will you be able to get parts then? How good will the warranty be then?

Redriven.net Redriven.ca SCAM?

These are made and inported from China folks. Dont let them tell you they are being made from them in Canada or elsewhere.  Can you trust that it will last the years needed to repay your investment if they cant be trusted to reply to your email and to tell you where the turbine is from?

Scary if you ask me..

Im unsure if its a scam, but id be leary and do more homework if it was me.

Redriven.net & Customer Service

Well here I am today, just attempting to let everyone know that if you plan to get serious about alternative energy that you should forgoe all efforts to spend your hard earned money with Redriven.net Redriven.ca.

This is beginning to be more of a game now than serious business.

As most of you know that have been reading this blog, ive been showing the world about some of the shady points of the people that own Redriven.

Again, on Wednesday September 3rd, 2008 I filled out the contact form located at http://www.redriven.net/contact.html and waited for a reply to some of my general questions to do with some of thier windmills.  Here it is the following monday with NO REPLY at all.

Let me ask you something right here..... Would you really spend $20,000 + of your money on alternative energy if they cant take 1 minute to email you back. Give you a call back or anything?

Would this make you nervous about spending your money in the first place?  It SHOULD, this is the third time we have tried to contact them to see if we could get them to respond. All three times, NOTHING.

My point may be, if you want a chinese windmill / turbine, you might want to find a dealer that will admit to 1. It being Chinese 2. That responds to customers questions with an email in a timely fashion.

redriven.net Website Changed?

I see their website is down at the moment, OOPS its back up with what looks like a temporary website. I have to say, from what I see so far, the new website looks like total garbage.  Why in the world would you downgrade the looks?

I cant wait to see the products page, the terms of service.

Ill report back when they get the terms of service up.

No Email Replies ?

Well I emailed Redriven.net over the weekend to time the reply that I 'Might' get. Now I realize that its a holiday, so I wait here in California here on wednesday for my reply. As of right now Wednesday Sept 03 I havnt recieve a reply to my product inquiry.  Take note that I sent the email on this past Friday.

Ill keep you updated on if they decide to get back to me or not.

Would you trust 15-20k with a company that wont email you back in a timely fashion?

What if your insurance company finds out?

Lets say you drop 25k on a new windturbine from ReDriven.net.

Lets say they come and install it and your putting out some power and your having a great time with it.

Lets say that something bad happends, lets say that during a storm it came unglued because well.....thats what chinese junk does.

Lets say during this storm the electronics burn out of it or something.

Will your insurance company cover this turbine and the subsequent electronics inside that operate the turbine if NONE OF IT IS 'UL' certified? You may ask, what is a UL certification.... UL stands for Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL). Its a STANDARD in the United States for safety in electronics.

"

Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL) is an independent product safety certification organization that has been testing products and writing Standards for Safety for over a century. UL evaluates more than 19,000 types of products, components, materials and systems annually with 21 billion UL Marks appearing on 72,000 manufacturers' products each year. UL's worldwide family of companies and network of service providers includes 62 laboratory, testing and certification facilities serving customers in 99 countries.

WOULD YOU BE COVERED??????? Thats a hard one to know, you might want to look at the fine print on your coverage. We all know how insurance companys will be looking to void any claim on any technicality they possibly can...

Good luck

Well today I tried to purchase redriven.org & redriven.com

Unfortunately for me, it appears that some other company has purchased them. What is humorous about where these domains point to is a company called 'China's Best Products'. If you surf around the site a bit (if you can stand it), you will see alot of the same images that Redriven.net have. The turbines and parts are EXACT. Now let me remind you that if you call or email Redriven and your lucky enough to talk to someone or get a return email they will tell you that the turbines they sell are REDRIVEN. They dont like to tell us its CHEAP CHINESE JUNK that will NOT stand the test of time!

I really wish I could have gotten my hands on those domains.
